Hi Julien,
Tonight when I started plotting a route everything was smooth. About 20 minutes later the map tile updates were getting slow again. For the last 5 minutes I have basically not been able to get *any* tile updates so I have to stop for tonight.I hope this can be resolved because Plotaroute is my favourite route editor.

Hi Winfried,
The devs have looked into it and weren't able to replicate the issue.
Because it seemed to be better the day after you wrote your post, they're thinking this might be linked to some updates which run from time to time on our servers.
So this might be a momentary issue, more than a bug per se.If this happens again, please let me know, and I'll ask them to look into it again.

Today the map updates work perfectly but yes the problem was most prominent when zoomed in.

Thanks for bringing this up.
Does this happen on any zoom level or a specific one?
I have just tried replicating this issue and I might have stumbled upon the problem you're talking about.
It seems to happen if I'm at a 100m/500ft (scale on the bottom left of the map) or even further zoomed in.Zooming out and back in seems to help, but doesn't quite fix it.
I'll report this to the devs right away.Please let me know if your issue is the same or if it's something else.

Hi,
Lately quite often when I move the map or zoom in the OSM map tiles don't show (grey square) or refresh. Sometimes I have to wait minutes before the tile is rendered.Is this a problem in Plotaroute or OSM? On openstreetmap.org I the map tiles update instantly.
