We’re excited to share an update to the maps available on Plotaroute.
You can now explore and plan your routes using an expanded selection of map layers, including multiple OpenStreetMap styles and topographical maps.
What’s new?
- Additional OpenStreetMap-based layers for different viewing preferences
- Expanded availability of topographical maps (OS Maps, IGN, USGS, Swisstopo...)
Whether you’re looking for detailed terrain, clearer paths, or a different visual style, you now have more tools to plan your perfect outdoor route.

You can find it in the list of the different map types.

Sorry but no! If I click "Cycle Map" a blank screen occurs. Other maps occur.

Hi, if you select cycle map, you get a blank screen. Other maps load fine. I renewed my subscription to plot cycle routes!

I'm finding that if I edit a saved map, I get OSM Cycle map tiles.
If I'm just in map view (normal plotting), I don't.

There is still no Cycle Map on my screen. Neither on PC nor on Smartphone-App.

Are you plotting a new route? Or editing a saved one?
A workaround for the moment would be to start plotting using a working map, save it, close, then My Routes/edit the saved route.

Okay Mark, I tried your suggestion. Same result: No Cycle Map. Could it be an API Problem?

Hi, New routes, editing existing (and save new from existing) - all blank.
