Hi - thank you for your explanation.  I've only just seen it as was away on tour.  It has made me realise how over-reliant I have become on electronic route plotting etc! 

I managed in the end by using the app not the web which was a new bit of learning for me. :-)

Yesterday, 25 May, between approximately 1 pm and 7 pm, many of you contacted us via the help desk and forum regarding several issues affecting route plotting and, in particular, route editing.

While investigating several ongoing issues and deploying fixes, some changes unexpectedly caused further problems across the website. As a result, parts of Plotaroute were unavailable or not functioning correctly for several hours.

Our team worked throughout the day to restore the affected features and resolve the issues as quickly as possible. We also took the opportunity to fix some longstanding problems, including:

• Cycle Map: when fully zoomed in, the map no longer turns white.
• OS + TOPO: labels and descriptions are now consistent between the website and web app.
• OS + TOPO: printing is now working again, as it already was for the OS Map. The same limitation still applies and is shown when selecting this map for printing:
  “This map may only be used for personal non-commercial purposes. To be clear, the use of prints for planning permission applications is not permitted.”
• Visorando link: routes synced with Visorando are now correctly synchronised with the English website.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience and understanding.

Now OK, but logging in takes even more time, and I have to reload to get rid of the Advertisement tab (Premium member).

At first sight, problem now seems to be solved ... at least for me.

Hi. Where do we get information such as a "screwed up update" - is there a devs news forum that I missed?

Yup, they screwed up an update, no editing on the normal web version ... but as the post below indicates, you CAN still use the mobile version of the site on a browser and it works fine for editing, if a bit clunky.  Scroll to the bottom of this page, hit the Switch to Mobile Site and you can edit.

Same here. Windows 11, Firefox, cannot edit an existing route, or create a new one - past the initial 'A'. Premium member.

I added a route yesterday, cannot do a thing today. What is going on?

Same problem for me.  I need a working app!  Im in middle if tour and have to prep tomorrows route.  Wtf is going on.

Same problem for me on Windows 11, using both Firefox and then trying Edge. Clicking on anything on toolbar does nothing and I cannot create a route beyond the first point "A". 

same here from today - I have deleted my saved routes as i was at the limit for the free version but nothing works now...

I did not see this before I posted a separate topic that I cannot edit at all. Was working yesterday. No buttons on the edit page work.

Me too. I can't interact with the map beyond placing the first marker, and can't select the map either. Firefox 151.0.1 on Mac OS 26.4.1 

Similar problems here. Using Chrome of laptop.
All of a sudden editing tools have stopped working. Clicking any of them in the sidebar has no result whatsover.

No problems on smartphone.

Hey folks,

I've been editing some maps today and all of a sudden I am no longer able to interact with the map after a single location pin is placed.

If I change things to mobile view everything works again so it is just on desktop mode. I lose access to the panel where I can select on foot/bike as well and can share a screen recording privately if needed.
