Hi Adam,
I'm very sorry for the late reply. I was on sick leave for the past few weeks and am now catching up on the forum, while the team focused on the help desk in my absence.
I understand your decision, and I'm sorry to hear that the ongoing issues have led you to this point. I hope we'll have the opportunity to regain your trust in the future.
I've rescheduled the regular "Bugs" meeting I have with the development team and will make sure the issues the community raised are brought to their attention again.
All the best,Julien
I'm of the same opinion as Ian. Much as I appreciate the fact that Plotaroute is one of the better planners out there, I too am seeing performance issues with Mac browsers. I too have not re subscribed and will use the free option for a little while to see if things improve
Hi Ian,
I'm sorry to hear that you've decided not to renew your Premium subscription after so many years with Plotaroute.
Thank you for taking the time to explain the reasons behind your decision. I have already reported the issues you mentioned to our development team, and I'll also pass your feedback on to management.
Kind regards,Julien
I've been with plotaroute for 7 years and my renewal is due in 2 weeks. I'm sorry to say I will not be renewing my premium account. There are just too many unresolved issues with plotaroute now. All of these have arisen since the takeover of Visorando and are not being resolved in a timely manner or not at all. Visorando seem to have ruined what was a perfectly good route plotting site.
Examples are multiple issues with the Firefox browser that didn't exist previously
Curvature of OS maps on Plotaroute. This problem doesn't on any other routing website I have usedThe routing engine not being updated in a timely manner. I added multiple footpaths to OSM several weeks ago. All were usable on Komoot in a very short time. They are still not usable on Plotaroute
Hi Will,
Thanks for reporting this issue and for getting in touch via the help desk as well. This is most likely the same situation as reported here, even though I don't think the misplaced initial plotting point has been mentioned before.I've added this to the bug report and have asked the devs if there is any news on this matter.
I'll update the original forum topic as soon as possible.
I'm running Firefox 152.0.5 on a Mac itself running MacOS 26.5.1
The toolbar on the LHS has shrunk to ca 1/3 width so you cannot see the icons, and the initial plotting point is not placed where I select. I note that these issues are not seen on Chrome. Has anyone else noted this and / or come up with a solution. I've emailed the helpdesk
