Vanuit Petershof richting Lazins Alm (we komen daar niet) en na 3 km wandelen we omhoog naar Bergmeertje Erensee 4,7 km D+635 D-13 pittige klim naar bijna 2300 meter.
Een frisse duik? Tenminste een pauze, al zijn daar geen bankjes, het zal een comfortabele rots moeten worden. Qua hoogtemeters zitten we dik over de helft. Dit is tevens het hoogste punt van de route.
We wandelen dezelfde weg, zo'n 1,7 km terug naar beneden en verder naar horeca Faltschnalalm op 6,8 km. Van 8:00 tot 19:00 open. Kaiserschmarren, strüdel of een platje kaas zal wel smaken.
We wandelen over de 'panoramaweg' op 8,6 km een watervalletje en sowieso mooie uitzichten.
Op 8,8 km lopen we even langs een bron, staat op de waterkaart aangemerkt als drinkwater.
Op 8,9 km moeten we besluiten of we er een klein stukje aan vast plakken, 275 meter en 23 hoogte meters. Lijkt een mooi stukje. We pauzeren er ergens (etappe 2,1 km)
Op 9,1 km komen we aan bij Horeca Grünboden, die gesloten is. Hier moeten we besluiten of we verkorten naar 12,6/12,9 dus nog 3,3 km D+61 D-385 te gaan als we na de Grünbodenhütte links naar beneden wandelen.
Doorlopen, 8 km D+245 D-574 betekent nog een mooi stuk langs diverse watervallen en watercrossings van de Faltmarbeek.
Op 12,1 km (etappe 3,2 km) hebben we daar een almhut om wat te gaan nuttigen. Faltmaralmhütte. We wandelen verder langs de beek naar beneden, langs de kristall klettergarten naar Pfelders en nog een stukje door naar Zeppichl.
